Physiatrists (fizz-ee-‘a-trists) are physicians specializing in non-surgical management of injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal and neuromuscular systems. Common conditions treated include traumatic injuries, neck, back and joint pain, spinal disorders, brain disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation and cancer rehabilitation. Dr. Hinderer has considerable expertise and experience treating individuals who have suffered multiple trauma, spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries.
